Welcome to my web page and blog where I share from time to time my thoughts on business model innovation, start-up ventures and education (for the moment mainly related to my start-up boolino).
I am strongly convinced that in order to overcome today’s economic crisis in Europe we have to create and foster a new entrepreneurial culture. We should celebrate much more the people who take the risk and start up their own company – independently if they ultimately succeed or fail. We should to motivate young people much more to question the status quo and educate them to go beyond their comfort zone. Innovation starts with the first step beyond the known.
I am German but living since more than 13 years in Barcelona. I would describe myself as European, rather than German, Spanish or Catalan. I have worked in Austria, China, Germany, Portugal, Spain, and the US and love Europe’s diversity and richness.
I have a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Technische Hochschule Karlsruhe (Germany) and studied my MBA at IESE Business School in Barcelona (Spain).
